Legacy reviewed baseline 0 reports |
— | Native Original Xbox/XGD profile is supported. | This row describes the canonical GDR-8050L 0012 firmware identity. Current project ownership and live reports use hybrid GDR-8163B hardware. This row does not assert validation on native GDR-8050L hardware or GameCube/Wii support. |
| GDR-8050L 0012 Modified firmware |
Tested and working | GameCube / Wii | GC/WiiNo XboxRAWISO |
Reconstructed historical report evidence 2 reports |
776.49 MiB/hour (full optical payload) | A reconstructed historical report documents a successful complete GameCube dump; one additional historical attempt is incomplete. | Modified firmware with added 0xE7 memory-dump support is required; this does not describe stock firmware behavior. The accepted live reports use GDR-8163B physical hardware that is cross-flashed with the GDR-8050L 0012 payload. They validate the hybrid firmware and software path. They do not prove native GDR-8050L mechanism, servo, or electrical behavior. |
| GDR-8050L 0012 Modified firmware |
Tested and working | Original Xbox / XGD | No GC/WiiXboxRAWISOXISO |
Reconstructed historical report evidence 1 report |
18,704.57 MiB/hour (assembled output) | A reconstructed historical report documents a successful complete Original Xbox dump. | Modified firmware with added 0xE7 memory-dump support is required; this does not describe stock firmware behavior. The measured assembled-output throughput includes synthetic layout ranges and is not directly comparable with full optical reads. The accepted live reports use GDR-8163B physical hardware that is cross-flashed with the GDR-8050L 0012 payload. They validate the hybrid firmware and software path. They do not prove native GDR-8050L mechanism, servo, or electrical behavior. |

How results are documented
Different sources are labeled so you can see how each compatibility result was established.
A report generated directly by FriiDump for one test run.
A report rebuilt from an older FriiDump log when the original JSON report was not available.
A result based on a tested firmware profile or a closely related drive model.
A compatibility listing retained from earlier testing while a complete report is still unavailable.
What the statuses mean
Each status summarizes the available test results for a specific model, firmware revision, platform, and FriiDump version.
The exact drive and firmware completed the relevant workflow successfully on real hardware.
The exact drive and firmware worked partially, unreliably, slowly, or only with special handling; read the recorded limitations.
FriiDump contains a supported profile, but a complete current-project hardware test is not cited for every listed firmware revision.
Compatibility is inferred from closely related hardware; this exact drive and firmware have not completed a full current-project test.
Support requires modified firmware, special settings, or incomplete early support and is not a general recommendation.
Direct testing of this exact drive and firmware shows that the required FriiDump reading method is unavailable; a single failed dump or diagnostic is not sufficient.
Share a test report
A FriiDump JSON report can help document another drive, firmware revision, or disc type.
Reports are checked before they appear publicly. A report adds test information; compatibility status is updated separately after review.
